Kathleen, Schorr, Harper, Libby & Louise | Family Portraits in Durham, NC

One of my favorite things about living in the Triangle - perhaps the most important contributor to its greatness - is the people who live here. High quality people move here from all over the country and the world, often drawn by jobs in education, medicine, research, and technology, and nine times out of ten they love it so much that they decide to stick around. Of course, from time to time, those great people have deep roots elsewhere, and after they finish whatever it was that they came here to do, they pack up and bid North Carolina a fond farewell. Kathleen & Schorr fall into that particular category: they came to me looking for a portrait session to commemorate the end of their short time in Durham before moving back to Memphis, and though I was more than happy to oblige, it's always sad to see such a fantastic family go.
