Gia's First Birthday | Cary Family Portrait Session

It's so hard to believe a year has gone by since Gia made her way into the world. She's grown into such a funny, confident, energetic little girl, and everyone around her is (understandably) smitten.

If you haven't already, take a peek at Gia's newborn and six month portraits, then enjoy her one year session below... I know I did!

Katie & Matt, thank you again for inviting me into your lives for the last year... it's been a pleasure getting to know you and help you document all of these incredible changes!

xox,

Annemie

P.S. If you're interested in documenting your own family's growth, find out more about the Baby Plan here!

Ethan/Newborn/Portrait Session in Raleigh, NC

One of the very best parts of my job is getting to photograph a family over the years. I first photographed Amantia & Jason before they had kids, and have now had the pleasure of documenting both of their beautiful boys. Ethan is the newest addition, and was an absolute angel for our portrait session back in December... so much so that he managed to take top billing on my website! I can't wait to see him and his whole family this summer for their six month session...

Care to take a trip down memory lane? Here are Amantia and Jason back before their boys came along, and here's a peek at big brother Caleb's four-month session from 2013. I love them all!

xox,

annemie

Kathleen, Schorr, Harper, Libby & Louise | Family Portraits in Durham, NC

One of my favorite things about living in the Triangle - perhaps the most important contributor to its greatness - is the people who live here. High quality people move here from all over the country and the world, often drawn by jobs in education, medicine, research, and technology, and nine times out of ten they love it so much that they decide to stick around. Of course, from time to time, those great people have deep roots elsewhere, and after they finish whatever it was that they came here to do, they pack up and bid North Carolina a fond farewell. Kathleen & Schorr fall into that particular category: they came to me looking for a portrait session to commemorate the end of their short time in Durham before moving back to Memphis, and though I was more than happy to oblige, it's always sad to see such a fantastic family go.
