Sneak Peek: Annette, Scott & Co. | Chapel Hill Family Photographer

What do you get when you take 11, 7, and 5 year-old brothers who are out of school for the day, tell them they have to dress in certain clothes, brush their hair, and be cooperative and sweet to each other for a portrait session first thing in the morning? I'll give you a hint: usually, not this:

Seriously? These were some of the easiest kids I've ever had the pleasure of photographing... if they get along half this well on a regular basis, I think I'm going to have to spend time at Annette & Scott's house taking notes on their parenting techniques! We got some really fantastic family photos, and I wasn't sure which one to put up first, but I thought this was just too much fun not to share...

I hope everyone's having a lovely holiday Monday... Happy Veteran's Day!

Rocco | Durham Family Photographer

Happy portrait season! August in North Carolina is not exactly a popular time to have family portraits made - it's crazy hot, everyone's off on last-minute vacations, and Christmas seems like a million years off  - but with the back-to-school sales and the first couple of crisp mornings, the gorgeous colors and textures and smells of fall are immediately brought to mind, and then those sessions start booking up. I've got a busy season ahead, and I'm really hoping it's full of families like Aninda, Dino, & Rocco: Downtown Durham Family Portrait SessionI had so much fun running around downtown Durham with them yesterday and can't wait to share more of these... I mean, seriously: is it possible that looking at this little one's smile didn't just brighten your day?Downtown Durham Family Portrait Session
