Jack's Six Month Session | First Look

Jack was scheduled for his six month session on Wednesday, and we were *thisclose* to postponing. This little guy has spent the last six weeks fighting off RSV, ear infections, runny noses, and everything in between, but between nose wipes and sneezing fits, he was a total champion. I love his incredible range of expression!

Can't wait to share the rest!

Brothers | Chapel Hill Family Photographer

There have been times when I've entertained the thought of a third child, but then the thought occurs to me: three boys. I mean... Three.

Three BOYS.

This is not a decision to be entered into lightly. Not that I don't adore my two boys with every fiber of my being, but come on... there are only so many poop jokes that one woman can reasonably be subjected to in one day!

Then last Fall I went to photograph Annette & Scott's kids, and honestly, they make having three boys look like a walk in the park. Like the snips and snails and puppy dog tales of legend...

Annette & Scott, thank you again for having me come and photograph your family... I can honestly say I had as much fun as your boys appear to be having in this last imageĀ  :D

Sneak Peek: Annette, Scott & Co. | Chapel Hill Family Photographer

What do you get when you take 11, 7, and 5 year-old brothers who are out of school for the day, tell them they have to dress in certain clothes, brush their hair, and be cooperative and sweet to each other for a portrait session first thing in the morning? I'll give you a hint: usually, not this:

Seriously? These were some of the easiest kids I've ever had the pleasure of photographing... if they get along half this well on a regular basis, I think I'm going to have to spend time at Annette & Scott's house taking notes on their parenting techniques! We got some really fantastic family photos, and I wasn't sure which one to put up first, but I thought this was just too much fun not to share...

I hope everyone's having a lovely holiday Monday... Happy Veteran's Day!
