Welcome, Kate!

Back in early December, I introduced Greg, Samantha, and George - a lovely family from Raleigh getting ready to add another leaf to their family tree... and on December 27, at 12:33pm, they did just that... meet Salma Katharine!

Oh, but this little baby is beautiful! Perfect, miniature features:

And her eyes... open, alert, and absolutely gorgeous!

Samantha and Greg didn't find out ahead of time whether they were having a boy or a girl, but I got the feeling they were pulling for pink... Samantha told me when Greg announced that it was a girl, she thought he was joking at first! As you can see, she's completely over the moon:

Big brother George, for all his crazy antics, was so worried about being gentle with Kate that we practically had to beg him to get this close... I love this series, though - especially her eyes in the first shot!

Samantha and Greg, thank you again for giving me the opportunity to meet your family and record your transition from three to four... I wish you all the best with your sweet little lady!
