Stephanie, John, Katie, & Jack | Family Portraits in Durham, NC

So I'm finally starting to dig through my files from last fall and share more of the photos I didn't have time to post in the thick of the pre-holiday craziness. It would be a shame not to share them, though... it was a great season! Besides... with all this snow, it's nice to look at warm, sunny photos. These are from my session with Stephanie, John, Katie, & Jack, who I met a couple of years ago thanks to the Duke Memorial Weekday School auction, and who have become amazing friends as well as clients. We share everything from a love of good food and fun parties to laid-back parenting styles and kids who get along great... that, and they've got a huge, gorgeous print of their kids from our last session hanging over their mantle, which totally gives me the warm fuzzies every time I go over to their house :D

Once again, they didn't disappoint: Katie & Jack are always fun to work with, and you can tell that Stephanie & John find a lot of joy just kicking back and watching their kids do their wild, crazy thing. Stephanie's parents were in town for the session and came along, so we got some grandparent photos as well!
