I'm always honored to help people document the various stages of their lives, but photographing Sarah and Josh was particularly lovely, as I was helping them commemorate the end of an eleven year chapter in Durham, and the start of the rest of their lives in Miami. We held their session two weeks before they moved, and by the time they came into the studio to see their images, they had shipped all their stuff south and were preparing to board a plane just two days later. Looking through these images again is a little bittersweet - it's always hard to meet great people right before they leave - but I'm so glad to have had the opportunity, and hope to be able to visit sometime in the future!
