Kelly & Jeff | Carolina Inn Wedding

It doesn't normally take quite this long for me to write a full blog post on a couple's wedding day, but even though Kelly & Jeff received their images just a few weeks after their wedding, I've been waiting to share them with you. As you may recall, Kelly & Jeff were my very first Written & Illustrated wedding, so as you might imagine, putting their album together took a bit longer than it usually does. Couple that with the fact that they now live in DC and we just got to meet to go over their album design, and, well, the time has added up. But I think you'll agree: a little time doesn't detract from this gorgeous wedding (and I daresay a LOT of time won't, either!):Chapel Hill Wedding PhotographyChapel Hill Wedding PhotographyChapel Hill Wedding PhotographyChapel Hill Wedding PhotographyChapel Hill Wedding PhotographyChapel Hill Wedding PhotographyChapel Hill Wedding PhotographyChapel Hill Wedding Photography

I hope it's not the last work we get to do together, though!

  • Jeff's advice to other couples getting married: "Focus on the big stuff: who's going to be there to share your special day, and the meaning behind what you say to each other in the ceremony. In the end, what you're going to remember isn't whether the tablecloths were floor-length or if the crabcakes were to die for. What you'll remember is what you say to your new spouse and the people who were there to watch an incredible, memorable day transpire. Spend your time figuring out how to best hold on to those moments."
