MEGAPIXIE

Hiring a family photographer is a big deal.

I appreciate the time, trust, and money that my clients invest in me, and work to ensure that every one of them is thrilled with both their photographs and their experience. Over half of my sessions each year are for returning clients, which is the best sign that I’m doing my job right. But I have to say... messages like the ones below and reviews like these on Google are a super-close second.

(And if we've worked together in the past and you'd like to share your experience, I'd be ever so grateful!)

"Let me just say, after now looking at all these photos again, that I'm SO, SO, SO grateful to have found you, and to have found you at the very beginning of this journey into parenthood! The gift of these photos, and these albums, is immeasurable to me as a mama. Thank you for being there from the beginning and for capturing the tiniest little things that mean so much to me."

Do you get tired of hearing how much people love your photos? Hope not, because we love them and we are so happy that we found you to document Esme's first year! Matter of fact, as long as we are in the area, we want you to photograph her once a year. Each fall you can put us on the books!"

“Thank you, Annemie! We love them! It was so great to see you. You are now officially woven into the fabric of our family now as we all think of you each time we see or talk about the pictures you have taken for us. They are treasures!”

"Just saw the preview photo. That one picture is worth the entire session! Thank you so much for your patience and kindness. You have got a lifetime customer!"

“Wow - I cannot explain to you in words what these mean to me and our family. You have allowed us to share our experience with our family - from Los Angeles to Bucharest to Jerusalem - in such a tangible way. We will always cherish what you have done for us.”

“I love them! You capture moments that I can feel!”

“From one photographer to another, let me say with great respect that your shots of our family are stunning. You have the eye of a seasoned photojournalist far beyond your years, and a sense of visual serenity that comes through so beautifully. If I spent adequate time extolling the qualities of each picture, there would be no room in this email. Let me just say then, bravo.”

“Just in case you haven’t heard, the photos are PERFECT! Thank you! You’ve won us over for a long, long time!”

“It just gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling (and already some nostalgia?) when I look at our photos! It’s that same warm and fuzzy feeling I sensed I’d seen from looking at your blog and made me want to go with you and your style!”

"I've been doing portrait and event photography part time for a few years now, but was feeling stuck. There's an over abundance of available material for beginners, but it's harder to find really useful information for intermediate photographers. Private mentoring with Annemie was just what I needed! I'm so excited to get out there and try my new techniques!"

"This class was so fun, easy and laid back, I was kind of nervous about attending because I'm such an introvert (AND I was late because of 2 traffic accidents!), but I immediately felt comfortable upon arriving and fit right in! I feel like no matter what kind of camera you use Annemie will try to help you figure out how to use it and help you take your best shots!"

"In 3 hours we were taught digital camera basics, giving me the confidence to finally take my camera off of its automatic setting! Annemie breaks down the most important parts of what you need to know using your digital camera into small bits and pieces with real life examples."

"My husband gifted this class to me, and I was honestly not looking forward to going. I felt like I knew my way around my camera well already, and figured it would be a waste of time. But Annemie brought great info that solved questions I didn't know I had. I feel more in control on my camera and have less "I wonder how that happened" moments. She is a great teacher and amazing photographer! Definitely recommend."

"In a short hour, I learned tips and tricks that have already allowed me to start taking better pictures of my baby using my iPhone. Her DSLR tips have empowered me to start picking up my big camera more regularly and I've already taken pictures that I treasure of this all-too-fleeting time."

"The three hours flew by. Annemie does a great job in balancing her technical content in an understandable way and helping the amateur photographer make progress on the creative side of shot composition."
