Whimsy & Wonder | Chapel Hill Family Photographer
It has been an amazing Fall - beautiful, colorful, and flying by like so many wind-blown leaves. I feel like the blog has been full of teaser images and rather light on full posts, but I promise it's only because I'm racing to keep up with all the family portraits, engagement sessions, and weddings taking advantage of what is arguably the most beautiful season of the year! Anyway, I thought I'd take the opportunity to give you a little more today - who doesn't want a bit of distraction on a Friday afternoon? Here's the rundown from my amazing UNC campus session with Quinn, Maarten, and the ever-entertaining Annalise.
Want to start a portrait session off right with your four year-old? Try chocolate cupcakes from Sugarland for breakfast...
This little girl has energy and personality to spare, and I love love LOVE catching her in all of her little moments...
But she also has this dreamy, sweet innocence about her that kills me every time.
One of these days, I'm going to have Quinn write a guest post for the blog about how to plan for your family's photo session... she shows up with the most amazing props and ideas, and makes my job so EASY! Parasols, tutus, superhero capes, rainbow ribbon twirlers (I'm making that name up)... Annalise was in heaven, and so was I :D
And then, at the end of the session, when the sugar rush had started to subside and the sun was getting high in the sky, we found this little fountain. In reality, it doesn't look like much, but with the magic of the camera, it became the perfect backdrop for this little dreamer. Annalise, I hope your fifth year of life sparkles half as brightly as you do.
