In 2012, a client came to me and told me they wanted to hire me to photograph their new baby... not just once, but four times over the course of the baby's first year. They wanted a collection of photos that told the story of that year, capturing all the big milestones and big changes that took place. At the end of that year, I was hooked: my only regret was that I hadn't done this for my own kids. So I hatched a plan for how to bring this unique opportunity to more of my clients, and The First Year Sessions were born.

Because of the incredible value represented by the First Year Session plans, I'm only able to offer them to a handful of families each year. Once you know your due date, therefore, I highly encourage you to get in touch as soon as possible to reserve one of those spots for your little one! A one-time booking fee of $500 adds your due date to the calendar; you can then wait to choose your collection until you've had a chance to review the images from your first session. Collection payments are made in three equal installments over the year.

After your first session, you'll have the opportunity to see your images before deciding which collection is right for you. Each collection includes a number of digital files as well as a collection of handmade fine art prints and a print credit that can be used toward additional digital files or any prints or print products on offer. Additionally, you’ll receive exclusive access to The Baby Bump sessions - discounted mini-sessions that can be added in at any time (i.e. for maternity sessions, out of town grandparents coming for a visit, etc.) - as well as free online access to the course I created for new parents, which helps any new parent with a phone on their camera do a better job documenting and archiving the day-to-day moments during that all-important first year. 

First Year Collection A - $2500

(Paid in three installments of $833)

• A custom pre-session phone consultation before our first session

• Three lifestyle Family Sessions (usually scheduled around the newborn, six month, and one year milestones, though that can be adjusted)

• Prep guides for all three sessions

• Your choice of ten high-resolution digital files from each session

• $300 print credit after the completion of the third session valid on any purchases made in the online gallery (prints, albums, digital files, etc.)

• The option to schedule Baby Bump sessions at any time from booking to baby's first birthday

Purchased individually, the items in First Year Collection A represent a $3750+ value.

First Year Collection B - $3000

(Paid in three installments of $1000)

First Year Collection C - $3750

(Paid in three installments of $1250)
