One of the most challenging and most rewarding parts of my job is sessions with pre-school/young school-aged kids... they're old enough to be self-conscious about the camera, but not old enough to really coach; they get all wound up, then come crashing down; they vascillate between shy and show-off-y; oh, and they're the world's worst offenders when it comes to super-cheese smiles. Then again, when you can catch them, they're the world's most adorable humans...
